Here are a few things you need to know to make hosting a private class as smooth and worry-free as possible:
Communication: A Citrus Pear Registered Dietitian will be helping arrange your private class. Communication between host and the Registered Dietitian is very important. Please use an email address that you check frequently when you make your request. Classes risk being cancelled if emails, texts, or phone calls are not returned in a timely manner.
Participants: Your group must be completely signed up no later than 10 days before the class. If there are less than 10 people signed up, we will have to cancel the class. Due to demand, if there are 10 people signed up, but less than the maximum, we will allow the public to fill the remaining spots. Every person attending must sign up individually. We do not allow splitting orders or bringing additional people.
Host Discount: Once nine people register for the class, not including the host, you will receive a $15 discount for arranging and filling a private class. You can either wait to purchase your spot until you receive your coupon code or you can use your coupon code for a future date.
Allergies: All menu items can accommodate any common allergy. A Registered Dietitian will contact those that mark an allergy upon checkout to make arrangements.
Extra Meal Fees: Due to varying supply costs, some menu items add an additional charge. These menu items are marked with * and the amount added. The additional fee is added to the base price of $199 for 10 Regular Family Meals or $209 for 20 Small Family Meals. To view all current menu items, click here.
In-Person Preparation Guidelines: All participants will be required to wear a mask and gloves during meal preparation. Please bring a mask. If you don’t have one, one will be provided for you. Cell phones will not be allowed out during class. Staff and customers will be required to have their temperature checked upon arrival. We ask that no participants attend if they or their household are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms. Bring a cooler (50-60 qt) with wheels, or something similar, to transport your meals. We will provide a disinfecting wipe to wipe down the cooler as you arrive.
